Kevin O'Connell, DataCert's senior vice president of law firm operations and business development, brings proven excellence in driving new business and market expansion to the executive management team.

O'Connell oversees all aspects of the company's law firm and vendor e-invoicing implementation process and is responsible for the development and execution of innovative growth strategies.

O'Connell's previous experience includes executive leadership roles for several global technology companies. He served as executive vice president of sales and marketing for the legal technology company LexisNexis Examen. While there, he led his team through complex sales cycles and successfully landed numerous Fortune 500 corporate customers. As vice president of Borland Software, his leadership contributed to a significant increase in revenue from the Asia Pacific and Latin American regions and the closing of one of the largest multi-million dollar deals in the company's history.

Prior to breaking into technology, he was a federal agent for the U.S. Secret Service and served in assignments protecting the president and vice president of the United States.

He earned his master's of business administration from Northern Illinois University and has bachelor's degrees in both business management and education from St. Joseph's College.
