Dell and the National Federation of Independent Business Select DataCert as Small Business Excellence in Customer Experience Award Finalist

Houston-based DataCert Recognized for Innovation in Technology Application

HOUSTON, March 31, 2006 - DataCert, Inc., the leading provider of electronic invoicing and legal spend management solutions, announced today that it has been selected as a finalist in the third annual Dell/National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Small Business Excellence in Customer Experience Award program.

The award recognizes small businesses employing unique information technology practices to enhance the customer experience. Launched in 2003, the Small Business Excellence in Customer Experience Award is a collaboration between Dell and NFIB, the largest small-business advocacy group in the United States.

The application process included an in-depth explanation of DataCert's Advanced Invoice Management System (AIMS) and a demonstration of its benefits through customer case studies.

"Since its founding in 1998, DataCert has focused on developing and applying innovative legal spend management technology," said Eric M. Elfman, DataCert's president and CEO. "Being recognized as a finalist for this award is a validation of our efforts. We're honored to be part of such an impressive list of finalists and we're looking forward to the final award notification in June."

The winner of the Dell/NFIB Small Business Excellence in Customer Experience Award receives a day with Dell to share best practices, including one-on-one time with Dell's founder and Chairman of the Board Michael Dell.
