DataCert Furthers European Expansion with Opening of Paris Office
France-based Operations Allow DataCert to Service Rapidly Growing Market
LONDON, Feb. 9, 2007 - DataCert, Inc., the leading provider of electronic invoicing and legal spend management solutions, today announced that it has reinforced its commitment to the European market by opening an office in France. The office, based in Paris and managed by Jerome Raguin, DataCert's regional sales manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), is located at 27 avenue de l'Opera, 75001 Paris, France.
DataCert initially launched its expansion into the European market with the opening of its London office in early 2005. The Paris office will serve as hub for the company's further expansion across Europe.
With more than 35 Fortune® Global 500 corporations headquartered in France, the French economy is one of the largest in Europe. According to Jeff Hodge, DataCert's senior director, EMEA, establishing a physical presence in France gives DataCert a distinctive advantage.
"DataCert is the first legal spend management company to recognize the need of the French market and dedicate time and effort to assist it," said Hodge. "The legal functions of corporate law departments in France have issues similar to their U.S. counterparts. They want to show the true value of the legal function to the rest of the organisation and manage outside counsel spend. DataCert is the only provider with a French presence that can help these law departments, not only with these issues, but also with valued added tax (VAT) compliance, foreign currency handling and reporting, and a local presence to support every client."
Hodge continued, "DataCert is especially pleased to have Jerome Raguin leading our growth in France. Jerome truly understands the corporate culture and has strong roots in France."
DataCert's Paris office will open on March 1, 2007. For more information about DataCert, please visit www.datacerteurope.com.
