TORONTO, April 9, 2008 – Datacert, Inc., the leading provider of legal and IP spend and matter management solutions, announced that it is teaming up with Canada’s leading monthly legal publication, Canadian Lawyer, to present legal operations management seminars in Toronto on April 15 and Montreal on April 17.
David Cambria, director of law department operations for AON Corporation, will lead each seminar with discussions on electronic invoicing, legal spend and matter management best practices.
Legal operations management technology allows corporate law departments to easily handle, process and report on the staggering amount of data – often paper-based - surrounding legal matters. With this technology, general counsel and corporate counsel can increase productivity and reduce the size of legal and intellectual property expenditures.
Cambria’s presentation will focus on the basic applications of e-invoicing, legal spend and matter management solutions and how to leverage technology to better understand outside counsel spend.
In-house lawyers and personnel responsible for managing a law department’s business operations are invited to attend. Each seminar typically lasts two hours. There is no charge for registration and breakfast will be provided.
The seminars occur the same week as the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association’s 2008 National Spring Conference in Toronto on April 13-15. Attendees are invited to visit Datacert at booth number 103 during the event. For more information and to register, visit www.cancorpcounsel.org.
