New AIMS Feature Supports the Growing Practice of Cost-Conscious Matter Budgeting

Using the budget collaboration feature, corporate legal departments can enhance communications with their outside counsel, streamline the budget request process and measure law firm performance.

Using AIMS, corporate legal departments can request matter budgets from their outside counsel. The law firm accesses and responds to the request via ShareDoc, Datacert's web-based portal for e-invoice delivery, reporting and budgeting.

With the budget collaboration functionality in AIMS, corporate legal departments also gain better insight into law firm performance. With timely budget information that can be easily updated as a project progresses, in-house counsel can more effectively measure a law firm's performance against budget and avoid surprise variances.
