DataCert Names James Tallman Chief Operating Officer
Appointment Underscores Technology Provider's Commitment to Operations Excellence
HOUSTON, May 1, 2008 - DataCert, Inc., the leading provider of legal and IP spend and matter management solutions, announced today that it has appointed James Tallman as chief operating officer. Tallman's two decades of experience in business operations and management will play a pivotal role for the company's operations as he leads engineering, implementation and support for more than 9,000 law department and law firm customers in 116 countries.

He is well qualified to help DataCert reach its long-term service and revenue goals by driving operational excellence and customer value on a global scale," commented Eric M. Tallman joins DataCert with a proven history of developing and managing global technology companies. Over the course of 16 years at E.I. DuPont de Nemours, he rose to the position of CIO of Latin America and amassed considerable experience in customer and operations management. His work at Fujitsu Consulting as senior vice president resulted in a triple-digit revenue growth over a two-year period and the development of a full-service business including customer care, billing solutions and content management solutions. As senior vice president of sales and business development at Technology Solutions Company, he established offices in Mexico City, Bogotá, London and Paris while simultaneously growing the business' revenue.
Tallman most recently served as president of the Americas and Asia Pacific at Intershop Communications, a publicly traded e-commerce software and services company that processes more than $20 billion in online e-commerce revenues.
