AIMS Analytics consists of a BusinessObjects™ Universe and pre-built legal spend
analysis reports and views. Together, the pre-defined data and pre-built reports allow users to
look deep into all invoice and matter data collected by AIMS in order to create "actionable knowledge"
from which to optimize corporate legal spend.
With the AIMS Analytics "drag and drop" reporting model, ad hoc reporting can be accomplished
with minimal technical expertise and training. AIMS Analytics is constructed using BusinessObjects advanced
reporting framework and is intended for those AIMS users that have invested in that infrastructure.
Future versions will extend this capability to other reporting engines.
DataCert also offers extensions to the pre-defined reports and business intelligence package
through customizations. AIMS Analytics can be joined to other existing databases and reporting
infrastructures to combine AIMS data with other data sources, like matter management and accounts
payable, to generate even more complex and in-depth legal business intelligence across the enterprise
or across the legal department.
Using AIMS Analytics, customers can:
- Generate up-to-date spending and trend analysis
- Get an in-depth look at legal spend
- Analyze legal spend in various currencies, across multiple geographies and in various time periods
- Track legal spend around the globe without the assistance of corporate IT
