The decision to host the application externally does not compromise any of the security features or benefits of the traditional deployment strategy where AIMS is installed behind your firewall. All access to your AIMS server, at our facility, is controlled by a client's network access and security protocols.

There are some important differences between a hosted solution and an ASP solution. Specifically:

• The AIMS server is dedicated for your exclusive use
• Access to the AIMS server is strictly controlled and limited to legal department staff through the client's corporate network, so all the traditional corporate security controls and processes are in place
• You always retain complete control of your data and, anytime that you choose, your data can be migrated to a server on your facility
• The facility where the AIMS server is deployed is SAS-70 Level II certified ensuring the highest level of security and reliability
