Clients are faced with the task of trying to use vast amounts of data to solve business problems. DataCert provides tools that allow clients to take control of their reporting needs. DataCert has four unique reporting tools that allow clients to customize reports for specific audiences and analyze invoice data to better understand their outside legal spend. Depending on the level of the analysis needed and the client's objectives, reports can be run from a standard template or customized using a drag and drop reporting tool. These three reporting options are described below:

1. Standard management report templates with customizable parameters:
   At the most basic level, AIMS includes a set of transaction reports that may be run by any authorized user at any time. The AIMS application is pre-loaded with a number of best-practice reports for legal spend management and review. However, these reports are set up as templates, and are easily customized by selecting specific parameter ranges for data fields. Customized reports may be saved in AIMS under the 'My Saved Reports' module.
    
2. OLAP Cube within AIMS:
   More advanced analytic insight into your invoice data is made available through the AIMS On-Line Analytics Processing (OLAP) "Cube." The AIMS OLAP Cube is configured with the dimensions and measures needed to perform an in-depth analysis of your legal spend. This drag-and-drop tool provides multi-dimensional and virtually unlimited ad hoc reporting, simply by choosing relevant fields, data ranges, and reporting formats. Any application capable of utilizing OLAP data sources (such as Excel) can be utilized to analyze AIMS data
    
3. AIMS Analytics
   Advanced analytics is available through our AIMS Analytics BusinessObjects™ Universe add-on service which includes:
   • BusinessObjects™ Universe from which to drag, drop and generate complex, ad hoc reports (future AIMS Analytics versions will extend this capability to other reporting engines).
   • A set of base reports specifically designed as a starter kit for advanced reporting needs; extensions to the existing reports and analysis package are available through package customizations
      
   Additionally, AIMS Analytics can be joined to other databases to combine invoice data with data like matter management and accounts payable to generate even more complex and in-depth legal business intelligence across the enterprise or across the legal department.
    
4. Scheduled Reports:
   Scheduled Reports is available as an add-on feature to AIMS. Built on top of Microsoft Reporting Services, Scheduled Reports provide a powerful way to produce and publish reports to all roles that work on matters (from billing clerk to general counsel and beyond). Scheduled Reports allow people to receive timely information right to their "inbox."
