3-Phase Implementation Process
DataCert's proven 3-phase implementation process is designed to get law firms and vendors
submitting e-invoices as quickly as possible. To ensure a positive onboarding experience,
DataCert's dedicated Law Firm Operations team provides full-service support for each firm
throughout the process.
The three key phases of the implementation process include:
Phase 1 - Initial Contact & Information Gathering
DataCert Law Firm Operations sends all designated law firms and vendors a Welcome Kit
containing basic information, instructions, and a web address to complete an online
User Information Form. After a firm completes the form, Law Firm Operations reviews all
the data that has been collected to assess the firm's technical ability and then begins
assisting the firm with the preliminary reconciliation of matter and timekeeper
data with its client.
Phase 2 - Training, Registration & Testing
DataCert Law Firm Operations provides web-based training for each law firm user and can
provide additional training support as needed. Upon training completion, the user
registers on ShareDoc, DataCert's secure invoice submission portal, and DataCert establishes
access for the firm. Each firm submits a test document, which the Law Firm Operations team
reviews for compliance with industry standard and client-specific e-billing formats.
Phase 3 - Final Reconciliation & "Go Live"
DataCert Law Firm Operations assists with a final reconciliation of all matter and timekeeper
data. Once the client is live, each firm successfully creates and transmits a live invoice to
the client without assistance from DataCert personnel. When this is accomplished, the firms
have successfully completed the implementation process and can rely on the DataCert Law Firm
Operations team for ongoing 24/7 worldwide assistance with any technical support issues.
