Recognizing the importance of training to support clients’ success, Datacert has a dedicated in-house training organization, the Datacert Learning Institute. The Datacert Learning Institute provides a comprehensive and holistic approach to training and learning support throughout each customer’s partnership with Datacert.  With unique and inventive services like training subscriptions and dial-for-training live learning support, the Datacert Learning Institute is re-inventing training for the Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) industry by providing each client with:

The Datacert Learning Institute offers a wide range of training services to meet the requirements of clients of various sizes and with a variety of implementation goals.  Clients can receive standard training or Datacert can develop custom training that is appropriate for a client’s specific needs, which can incorporate a client’s unique Passport® configuration and business processes.  To support different learning styles, Datacert leverages a diverse set of training delivery methods, such as instructor-led courses, computer-based training (CBT), live training support, and train-the-trainer services. 

Datacert Learning Institute offerings include:

  • Project kickoff orientation day – Includes an introduction to ELM concepts and Datacert’s implementation methodology, and a training needs assessment to identify the best learning path for each client
  • Subscription services – A range of subscription-based services, such as on-demand CBT modules, “how to” animations, live training support, and annual on-site training and documentation maintenance, provide continuous post-go-live learning opportunities
  • On-demand learning materials – Self-serve access to “how to” animations, CBT courses, and training guides from within the Passport application provide training as-needed
  • Live learning support – Phone access to Datacert training professionals to assist with the ad hoc training needs of end users, system administrators, and system designers
  • Training project management – Datacert can manage the complete training program, eliminating the need for the client to dedicate any of its own resources
  • Passport certification – Available for Passport users, technical staff, and trainers to guarantee a high level of Passport proficiency

Datacert can also customize training content and curriculum, including course materials, computer-based training (CBT), documentation, and “how to” animations, to reflect a client’s specific Passport configuration.  This can include ongoing support by the Datacert Learning Institute team to maintain all custom training materials and keep them up-to-date with the changes a client makes to its Passport system over time.

The Datacert Learning Institute is a full-time team of software training professionals with over 30 years of ELM software training experience.  These training experts are skilled in the planning, development, customization, and delivery of all aspects of training and, to date, have trained more than 5,000 Passport® users.  The Datacert Learning Institute team is fully-invested in maximizing the user adoption and success of each client’s Passport solution by serving as a learning support partner throughout the client’s relationship with Datacert.
